Created By Kids is excited to announce our 9TH YEAR running our Summer Camp Program! Since our normal in-person summer camp experience has changed and numbers limited due to COVID-19 and ongoing restrictions in NYC, we are open to offer our fun, creative online version of our regularly scheduled thirteen-week Summer Camp Program offered at a discounted rate.
With the option to join us online no family will miss out on a summer camp experience, allowing students to still enjoy our themed weeks from the comfort of their homes. As of now we will NOT be offering the option to sign up for our virtual summer camp. Instead we are asking families who are interested in a virtual option to reach out to us and let us know.

How Virtual Camp Works:
We will be following the themes for our in person camps, with some projects needing to be tailored to work within an online format.
Before camp commences, you’ll receive a supply box brimming with materials needed to create a full week of fine arts projects, as well as a loose schedule and PDFs for what we’ll be creating.
Each day, there will be two live check-ins starting with our AM lesson from 9:30 - 10:30 then again for our PM lesson from 2:30 - 3:30, in which we will go over instructions for creating these projects and provide tricks and tips for completing them. You’ll also have access to library of supplemental videos that cover a wide variety of technical instruction, from clay basics to painting and drawing skills that you can view any time. Campers will also have the option to join us for lunch hangouts in the afternoons.
Each box also includes our popular free-time materials, like rainbow loom, lanyard, and drawing material, so it will feel as much like CBK Summer Camp as possible!
Specialty Camp Weeks: Our Clay and Fashion Design classes will have special materials and equipment available for contactless pick-up and drop-off. Sewing Machines are limited to the number of registered students. We’ll be in touch about those options for all who register!
In addition to our Virtual Summer Camp, we are now offering a new program of online summer classes - CLICK - so you can stay creative at home! CLICK stands for “Create/Learn/Integrate - Camp Kids” and applies the principles of CBK (spurring creativity through a variety of mediums, exploring art history and contemporary artists, and working together to support each other) into an innovative online summer camp format.
While we still offer weekly theme-based mixed-media Virtual Summer Camps, CLICK differs in that it runs more like our after-school programs - we’ll meet with students once a week, and each weekday will cover a different medium.
The idea is to allow families a variety of scheduling options that center visual art as part of their enrichment, while allowing kids to stay connected to their friends and teachers at CBK. CLICK will run weekday mornings, Monday through Friday, from 11am-12pm, during the twelve weeks of summer break. You can sign up for a class once a week, or choose multiple classes.
